What are Bare Kind socks made of?
Our socks are made primarily frombamboo fibres (65–70%), blended withrecycled polyamide (25–30%)and a touch ofelastane (5%)for comfort, durability, and stretch. Bamboo is naturally soft, breathable, and odour-resistant.
Are your socks sustainable?
Yes! 🌱 Bamboo requires less water, no pesticides, and grows quickly, making it one of the most sustainable materials for textiles. We also donate 10% of profits to animal conservation charities, so every purchase helps the planet.
How do I wash and care for my socks?
We recommend:
- Wash at 30°C / cold wash to preserve softness.
- Do not tumble dry (air dry flat).
- Avoid bleach and ironing.
With the right care, your socks will stay soft and comfy for years.
Can these socks go in the dryer?
Yes, it's possible to put your bamboo socks in the dryer, but we don't recommend it. Excessive heat from the dryer can damage the bamboo fibres, leading to shrinkage and reduced durability.
We recommended a 30 degrees Celsius wash and left to air-dry.
Are Bare Kind socks good for sensitive skin?
Definitely! Bamboo fibres are naturally hypoallergenic, soft, and breathable, making them ideal for sensitive skin or those prone to irritation.
Do Bare Kind socks really help animals?
Yes! 🐾 We donate 10% of profits from every pair to animal conservation charities that protect the species featured on your socks.
How long do I have to return an item if I'm not happy with it?
You have 100 days from the purchase date to return your item. After 100 days, we can’t guarantee eligibility for store credit, refund, or exchange.
What condition should the product be in to make a return or exchange?
The item must be unused and with labels intact. You’ll also need your receipt or proof of purchase.
Is returning free?
Yes! We offer free returns. However, note that the cost of original shipping is not refundable.
How long will it take for the return to be processed once you receive it?
Once we get your return, we process it within 14 business days.
Can I exchange the socks for a different design or size?
Yes. If you want a different size or design, just fill out our returns form or email us. If it’s a defect or wrong product, we’ll help arrange the exchange.
Are sale items refundable or eligible for exchange?
Sale items cannot be refunded. However, exchanges are possible for defective items or wrong orders.
How will I receive my refund?
Once your return is received and inspected, you'll get an email notifying you. If approved, the refund will be credited back to your original payment method. Original shipping charges won’t be refunded.
Can I edit my Can I exchange socks from mystery bundles?
Unfortunately not - the unique nature of the mystery bundles means exchanges are not possible if you are unhappy with the sock design received.
How long does delivery take for orders?
NZ Orders:
All our orders are dispatched within 1-2 business days.
Metro Addresses - Allow 1-2 business days for delivery from dispatch.
R.D. Addresses - Allow 2-3 business days for delivery from dispatch.
How quickly do you process orders?
All weekday orders placed before 2 pm are processed the same day. Orders received after that—or on weekends—are processed the next working day.

What happens in high-volume periods or when there are postal delays (e.g. during holiday seasons)?
Delivery might take longer than usual—carriers can get backed up. Bare Kind gives extended delivery windows during such times to accommodate these delays.
How will I know when my order has been dispatched?
Once your order has passed the quality check, verification, and packaging (processing stage), you will receive a dispatch confirmation. From then, the shipping time begins.
